AIM application that uses SMS
Does anybody know of an AIM application that uses sms instead of data? As described in this thread: http://www.everythingwm.com/forum/so...sms-14850.html I have no data but would still like a nice GUI and stuff, rather than the pure sms option.

If you put your cellular number into your aim details, people that IM you while you're offline will automatically send it to your phone, as a text message. I don't know of any dedicated apps that do this... but I guess I don't really see the need.

oh, i didn't realize you could do that, i thought that you could only send them through their menu system. Thanks!

did u read the thread u posted a link to?? the very 1st post under the OP says this as well.... it works for all IMs, well yahoo,aim,and msn anyways... they just put in ur cell number to IM you(u dont need ur mobile number in ur acct either-they just type ur numb instead of a username.. youll get a txt with a 6digit identifier... u can just save that as a contact if u like even and message them whenever....
