Actually, the error gives you your answer. It cannot find wallpaper.bmp in \Program Files\Slide2Unlock\GFX\Res\. You need to navigate to that directory and see if the file wallpaper.bmp is there. If it is not, put it there. If it is instead wallpaper.jpg, then you need to edit the registry entry to point to wallpaper.jpg instead of wallpaper.bmp. Or to make it easier. Convert the wallpaper.jpg to wallpaper.bmp using MS paint on your PC and then put the wallpaper.bmp in the directory. Once you have done this, you will need to soft reset (or run iLock.exe twice)

Correct, but doing a soft-reset does accomplish stopping and re-starting Slide2Unlock. [It was just easier to say soft reset and I'm lazy]

why do people still go into the reg to configure slide2unlock why not just use Slide2Unlock Configurator v1.211

Trying to change wallpaper
I am trying to change my wallpaper.jpg and wallpaperl.jpg and I am running into a problem. (I am the problem).
I go into slide2unlcok, then GFX then Res then I see wallpaper and wallpaperL... Thats where I am confused...I cant find a way to change the wallpaper? When I open the wallpaper, I see it but nothing under menu gives me an option to change. I would have thought edit or options would allow me to change it but no. What am I missing here? |
