K here's a solution in short for those who have issues with "account reqd" message!

1) First run the sprint nav (which will ask you basic info like name/email) - feed it - run it
2) then install this telnav..launch it..feed the same info as u did earlier
3) make sure u go to the site posted earlier in this thread and get a pin (which is mostly last digits of ur tel no.)
4) thats it.

Hope that clears out doubt and helps.
Cheers and thanks OP for the cab file.

Re: New Version of Sprint NAV

Well having passed the 1st hurdle to make it work...my problem is..it keeps giving me same message on GPS loc.. "weak signal.. stay motionless...in open area"!

Well I have tried ev thing..diff locations...soft-resets... yet the same prob. Does anyone else have the same prob?

Thanks in advance.

In step2..I mean.. Install the TeleNav cab posted in this thread (post1) and run it. And feed the same info that you put into "sprint Nav" in step 1.
(Basically what I am trying to say is.. run the normal/default SprintNav before you install this TeleNav s/w.. and use the same info..1st name..last name and email address).

I deleted SprintNav awhile ago. Do you have the cab for that?
Or I could google it.
Thanks.

Actually even I had deleted it. So I got it from here:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=69426&highlight=sprint+nav

Install that 1st.
Run it.
Enter details
Then get to TeleNav from the top of this post...and follow the same steps.

Hope that helps!

I test drove it from work to home.. OMG...its really nice GPS. I am really impressed.

Bye Bye amazegps! This telenav is for keeps! Thanks OP for sharing and posting.
Cheers Biker!

(OH btw.. wonder why the navigator says "turn TO left on xyz street" OR "turn TO right" rather than "turn left/right ON xyz street" Lmaoooooo)
