A second look at point ui
 
I know a lot of you wer'nt impressed with point ui 2.0. I think it has potentialll and this new theme looks unbelievable. http://community.pointui.com/topic/s...intsense-suite take a look and see for yourself. make sure you watch the video. not my work. coming soon

I posted a video of what they came up with. I would love to see the great people at ppcgeeks get more involved with point ui. Imo it could be far better than tf3d or ms3 with more themes and applets.

The problem with PointUI is the lack of polished and consistent applets. Everyone develops in their own style, some more polished than others, but there is almost no unity in applet styles and the overall level of refinement is mediocre.

I think the core team should invest in dedicated applet developers to set an example of applet quality, instead of solely focusing on the PointUI engine itself.

I couldnt agree more but did you check out those two themes? they look very polished.

Yep, I feel the same way. Its framwork is solid, but there isnt enough default content to make me feel ike this is anything more than a promising app.

A great deal of Apps take a lot of work to implement. It feels laborious to install some things. That being said, its a pretty sexy UI. Especially since its transitions and screen wipes are a lot smoother than WinMO itself.

my favorite feature of pointui 2 pro is the integrated message center..all messages, be it email or text in one very smooth flick-scroll friendly interface

i think the core pointui team trys to dev stuff they can sell to companies. these 2 themes are the best ive seen, tryin to copy htc sense. man i cant wait til htc sense somes out! ill try these themes once you can download them
