Notification utility smartWatchM connects Sony Ericsson Bluetooth Watches (MBW-100, MBW-150, MBW-200) as well as other Bluetooth Watches to Windows Mobile devices and adds plenty of amazing features (way more than with Sony Ericsson phones).





Requirements

• .NET Compact Framework 2.0 or newer
• Microsoft Bluetooth Stack (*)
• Windows Mobile 5 Pocket PC/Smartphone or newer

* Build for devices with Widcomm BT stack

• Abacus Caller ID Watch (or similar Fossil watch) (just notifications, no menu or control)
• Citizen i:VIRT (W71)
• LM Technologies LM957/LM958 (Bluetooth Watch Sports/Classic) (complicated connection/reconnection)
• LM Technologies LM959 (Bluetooth Vibrating Bracelet) (complicated connection/reconnection)
• LM Technologies Bracelet with LCD (currenly vibrate only, complicated connection/reconnection)
• Sony Ericsson HBH-DS980 (setup, just a test)

Installation (SE MBW)
Microsoft Bluetooth Stack, Direct connection
1. Make sure your device has Microsoft Bluetooth Stack. If Bluetooth switching from within the smartWatchM works (Menu -> Bluetooth -> On/Off) then you have MS BT Stack.)
2a. Choose connection type (Settings -> Device). Select "SE MBW-150 or newer".
3a. Start synchronization on the watch (4th icon).
4a. Discover the watch from within smartWatchM (Settings -> Discover and Pair) and wait for pairing.
5a. Select (Menu -> Start (Connect)).
6a. If you see the text "Waiting for connection. Press a button on the watch.", simple press a button on your watch... You're connected

Yes this does support Kinoma!
- added Pocket Player, CorePlayer and Kinoma (both Play/FreePlay versions) support (better WMP control)
No need to set up, just leave your favorite player running while activating the media control on the watch. Currently only with WMP you see the track artist/title (while it may be possible to add this feature for Pocket Player).

Where can I get a decent watch like this for cheap? ebay i suppose...i hate ebay.

this is awesome but these watches cost more than I paid for my phone lol. I'll wait til the tech becomes cheaper
