Just found that. It appears that there is a brn bmp/brn converter for ppc. |

Re: So... Suggestions?
Hmm... I guess I'll have to research how to change the icons of apps. From my brief research, it would appear that there is a setting in the registry, however, the registry entry might point to a resource in a .dll file, and not an actual image file... I'm not sure if changing that entry to a image file will work or not, I'll have to test it.
EDIT: I couldn't actually find anything in the registry similar to what I had seen online, so I'm going to say that's a no-go. Hmm... I wonder what else I can do. I know how to change a shortcut's image, but not the app itself. |
Re: So... Suggestions?
Well, I started working today on something really simple just to test out a few features... and for whatever reason, there are no windows controls for me to place on the designer! And I can't hard code them into the designer.cs file because VS is a biatch and deletes everything that it didn't make itself. I'm going to have to look into it later, because as of right now, I have to copy/paste controls from the sample code stuff onto my designer.
Also, does anyone know anything about compiling .icl files? If I can find an effective way to allow a user to modify one of those by adding resources to it dynamically, then I should be able to make an icon changing application. FFR, icl files are 16 bit dlls |

i know why and what reg edits he uses to achieve this effect. if youre interested in those, let me know. but it would be AMAZING to get a dll editor for ppc and cab creator/editor, editing is more important to me. |
