Re: GPS For Water
I noticed that a lot of these programs track altitude. Do you guys know if any of them will log altitude in some format that a cad or landscaping program could interpret?
I could see good use for it in surveying a piece of land for home design (size of lot, grade of driveway, etc...). JJ |
Re: GPS For Water
If your CAD or Landscape program can interpret the standard GPS or googlemaps/earth data files, you're good to go with TrackMe. I use it in non-internet mode. It tracks GPS coordinates, speed, heading, altitude and more if you wish.
I provided a screenshot. If you were on the page I used to produce it, each of those points on the map are clickable and they provide the data I mention above. Since again, you mention no internet on your phone, you can't take advantage of online/realtime tracking via the web. However offline mode still does the job for me. |
