Lightbulb RealVGA- Change Screen from 128dpi to 96dpi

I just read the review of RealVGA and it sounds like a great program.. It enables you to reduce the resolution of your screen from 128dpi to 96dpi.. The benefit of this is being able to see more icons on the same sized screen..

The only issue being reported is it does not work with SPB Mobile Shell (version 2.0.2)...

To change between the settings, you have to install the corresponding .CAB with it.. I uploaded the program, along with the 2 resolution setting .CAB's...

I posted the link to the review below..

Credit for this program goes to Tobias over at XDA..

I just tried this...loved how everything looked!..it warned me that some applications wouldn't work correctly but i just ignored it...the phone dialer wouldn't work...so i had to get rid of realvga..very sad...any other alternates for an app like this????

I am not sure, but I am happy you were able to get some usage out of it..

Re: RealVGA- Change Screen from 128dpi to 96dpi

ha, I ran into a fellow geek the other week, (he had a 6700, but not with him) he was trying to tell me about it, but didn't do a very good job explaining it..

now I understand..

RealVGA didn't work well at all with my Touch PRO. Many error messages upon startup, unfortunately.

Re: RealVGA- Change Screen from 128dpi to 96dpi

It gave me cprog.exe and shell32.exe errors on startup, and then I couldn't uninstall the 128dpi cab. Afterward, my TP wouldn't ring until after I hard reset again.
