Re: Has anyone ever encountered an app that...
call firewall... its really a call barring/sms filter app..
you can make black and white lists, make call scedules......so certain numbers cant call you when your with the family lol you can add the number in by contact name, or you jusy just type in the number without a name... you could easily hide your numbers in here... it has a silent run iin backround, and works darn good for me..... ihave quite a few girls and other guys' wives, so i need something like this.. here it is though- not really a black book app, but you will be able to store numbers in here, and make it so they/and you can only cntact when u see fit..

Re: Has anyone ever encountered an app that...
This is one thing I miss about my phone having a sim card. I had bought one of those knockoff iphone i9's off craigslist just for this purpose. It had dual sim cards so I would just activate one and deactivate the other when the time called for it.. so only one number would ring and the other would go straight to voicemail... and no texts would come through from it.
And when I wanted to use the other one id just deactivate that sim and..well you get it. |

Re: Has anyone ever encountered an app that...
You won't be able to hide the numbers in you contact list, however if someone calls you that you want kept hidden. The phone will not ring and no notifiaction will appear. You can set it to only accept calls/SMS from your contact list or a specfic number. After you install it, cut the shortcut from the Window\Start Menu\ folder; and paste it directly in the Windows folder. When you want to review who called or SMS you. Just go to the Window folder, enter the password and and select View Log. Its called Magicall and it works great.

this pic is a rip from the original.
It was originally the root of all problems, not evil. haha. But I think evil works better. haha. exactly.

Re: Has anyone ever encountered an app that...
Thanks for the suggestions guys. I might even think of writing something myself...although I haven't written a piece of software since my third year of uni (4 years ago) when I switched out of comp sci...tired of debugging my life away lol.
I would like to point out I am not married, nor do I have a serious girlfriend . I just get a lot of people saying, "hey can I see your phone", including kids. It's really embarrassing when you have a text or random girl with no last name showing up in your phone's history that is a bit private... If I was to write a program, is there a way to emulate the entire OS (i.e emulate another instance of WinMo). I'm sure it would be slow as hell...but I'm very curious. I ask this because you can launch Android from WinMO (although you can't switch between the two). |

Why not just add a last name and make up a company name and title? Then you it looks a bit more professional until they look at your texts. |
