Why Windows Mobile 6.5 over 6.1?

I have a Sprint Touch Pro. I love it. I would admit that I am addicted to flashing. Have tried a lot of ROMs so far. I see that in a lot of new threads people say that
- I love WM6.5.
- Once I've used WM6.5, I can't even imagine going back to 6.1.
- There is a whole world of difference between WM 6.5 and WM6.1

From my experience (I always use TF3D), the things that I find different between the 2 OSs:
- In WM 6.5 scrolling and the scroll bars are awesome.
- In WM 6.5 the start menu is different (which I am not a big fan of)

Besides that, everything seems the same to me (as I use TF3D and not use Titanium). Am I missing something? Is there some really drastic change between the 2 OSs? What makes everyone like WM6.5 SO MUCH MORE than WM6.1? What is so good about it? Please enlighten me so that I can feel the glory of WM6.5...

Thanks in advance.
