does this version unblock hulu by chance? I was going to post a new thread but saw a skyfire thread from today so I thought I would ask here first. What is up with that??? Why the block? I thought it was just some weird thing with my phone... It was also just posted on engadget....

the hulu issue is being worked on, ive been talking to skyfire mod via emails and its not only hulu. sling.com gives the same error. ill use this thread to update when omaha dave from skyfire updates me.

does anyone have a tip for volume control in skyfire? I have tried changing volume on the screen for example in youtube or hulu but it either turns it off or on. the tiny slider just doesn't stay up to change it. Reason I ask is it's very loud even on the lowest volume setting previous to opening up skyfire. sorry if this has been discussed already, but if anyone knows that would be great! thanks.

Hulu is such a lame company. First they block boxee, and now skyfire! When they blocked boxee it's because they came out with there own POS desktop client. Makes me wonder if they are coming out with a pocket pc client or if its because some phones have TV out. Anyways I've had skyfire since the first beta, this month i'm just discovering it has way more uses then just redtube.......... I'm a http://www.stumbleupon.com/ addict and now with stumble's web tool bar and skyfire I can stumble on the go.

I installed Skyfire on my Diamond today (straight from skyfire's website - not here) and I can say that performance-wise it is much much better than its beta predecessors (zooming, scrolling, etc).

However the text when zoomed in could be much better. It looks kinda blurry and jagged (NYTimes.com for example). Unless the skyfire website pointed me to a non-vga version or something? I dunno.

thanks hit, keep us posted what dave says.......Ive read stuff saying hulu doesnt want skyfire to be able to view hulu for some reason, that they pulled out from skyfire and psp browsers or whatever..... Is it a problem getting it to work, or are they seriously gonna stop it for good.....I dont see them doing that then like yesterday it worked again........ Whats really the reason its down, technical problems? or do they not want ppcs viewing hulu?

little hulu update, it is not on skyfires end, seems hulu maybe up to something such as charging for there service, skyfire isnt saying that but wmexperts reprted something on those lines. may have been endgadget, i gota find the article. skyfire says to be patient, hulu will be back on skyfire. they dontt seem to think its going pay, i dont know. ill keep checking skyfire forums and replys to my emails i got out.

not a problem, skyfire just seems to think hulu is updating something with there servers. when i watch shows on sling.com, they show in history as hulu vids, maybe thats goid news that it is a hulu issue as in updating something and the sling vids are just older vids. we shall see, ateast porn still works. lol

I am frustrated, since installing the latest build skyfire will not stay open on my diamond running groove 5. it goes to connecting and back to the home screen

try unloading skyfire and removing any folders then soft resetting then reload the new build.
