True x-button close?

I used to have Pocket Plus installed on my system but after a recent flash I will not be reinstalling it. The only thing I miss from it is that it had a built-in x-button closer.

Is there a standalone program that also does this? I would prefer one that had an exception list. For example, I use Vito SMS-Chat and I would like to be able to hit the x on it and have it minimize instead of close (because it takes a few seconds to load up when its been closed out).
