How come you guys didnt get it when it was grandcentral, out of curiosity? It was so easy if I remember correctly, I just went in and signed up, and even didnt use it for years and years, and when I heard they changed to google, I was like, ****, I wonder if I still have it. I went in and transferred my log in info, and to my surprise they kept it active.

I tried, but never got in. I'm assuming it has to do with iowa and our stupid telco regulations.

When GC 1st open yes you can sign right up than they closed it making it by invite only with ppl who had an account can send a handful of invites out via email. As I said b4 my friend in nyc sent me one and I bs'ed around with it til I lost the email and no I'm sol like everyone else waiting to be let in.

seems like their verify phone number process is not working though. let me know if it's working for you. check the thread below if it's not working for you. might be able to see when it's up.

google voice is bogged down, lots of people that can't verify phone numbers. guess a lot of people got their invites and went crazy all at the same time.
