Try sk tools...its an awesome way to keep ram and such free'd up on your ppc...it also has tools to see whats installed and such...I would highly recommend it. I had the T-Mobile Wing before and it was pretty slow to me until I used SK Tools.....This thread here discusses it in full

Biggest thing is to make sure you CLOSE apps when done using them, not just throw it in the background. Also there are some great memory cleaning apps out there, check em out.

+1, thx, was gona say the same....low memory warnings are device memory orientated.
