Can you buy games & beam them to other ppcs?

So Sprint's software store has Battleship for $20 and you can play against the computer player, another ppc phone and even internet players online. My husband has the same phone as me (6700) so $40 for us to be able to play each other seems ridiculous...
Can I just buy the game & beam it to him s we can play together?

Ok...I'll jump in and try to answer the question. I'm thinking that for some games this can be done. Other games will be directly associated with a particular device (phone) so beaming will not work.

I think the final answer is "it depends".

We both have the 6700. Another friend has the Cing 8125.
We've beamed Pencil Box & a couple other things to each other & they worked fine, but I got all those free. I've never tried to beam something I paid for. I just dont want to pay for it & then not be bale to play anoy of them because they wont buy it. lol

You have to have the CAB file saved on your storage card. Swap storage cards with your hubby, install, thats it. Same game, two phones, 1 price

Keep in mind that this will not work for programs that require a registration key of some sort (as those tend to be tied to your device ID number).

With stuff that's a straight CAB download and nothing more, yeah, it'll work.
