Tachi PhoneCanvas - NOW WORKS ON ALL VGA DEVICES!!!
Thanks to our friend MikeKnoop, we now have an ALMOST fully functional Tachi Phone Canvas that works on all VGA devices, both GSM and CDMA!!!

The list of things that DO NOT work is so much shorter than the list of things that DO work that I'm just going to tell you what is wrong with it still.

1. Landscape is non-existent while in-call
2. Some claim the slider is a little flakey(I personally don't have this issue.

Its working great for me too. I haven't had any slider issues or anything so far.

I installed it last night, and it mostly works very well. Only issue i have is that when i go to contacts, it brings up a blank screen, no contacts. Im using copper 6.5.

my contact link works fine, maybe something w/copper..? (i'm on my own calc 6.5 rom)

i've managed to get rid of all the HTC green & replace w/grey, i'll upload the folder here in a few for anyone who's interested...

*.rar attached contains .cab and OEM w/HTC green removed (added screen shots)

Humm....there werre some issues with the contacts on NRG's 6.5 ROM build as well. I wonder if the Tachi CAB has brought something back :scratch:

Im running the 119 SsS ROM and it's running great. The contacts button is working fine for me, hardware dial works and on-screen dialing.

Any way to link the left soft key to the default contacts in windows? I'm still running WM6.1...

when i press contacts nothing happens. i can get contacts by pressing the little phone icon. i using wm6.5 build 21501 w/ spb ms3. also have rhodium notifications and menu enhancements

Well, so far so good. I just installed the CAB and did the restart. On the post it mentions slider problems...none encountered initially. But, how do I change that green color???

I tried it on 6.1, it works but the contacts softkey doesn't work...

Your welcome, I end up uninstalling it because scrolling through call history on top of the keypad is a PITA... You might wanna back up your device just in case u don't like it because this thing does not uninstall clean

did you close cprog.exe before you uninstalled? I just uninstalled and haven't noticed any gliches... what kind of glitches do you see? Just wondering because if i can recreate, i'll run my restore... just kinda lazy to run it if i dont have too =P

I'm running the SsS-ROM v0119 as well, and it wouldn't install for me. Can you walk me through what you did? I even closed the cprog.exe and it still wouldn't install???

All is perfect and beautiful! I am WM6.5 and Contacts opens up the IContact I have installed.

As we speak, i am putting my finishing touches on my black version of this canvas...so...NOBODY ELSE WORK ON IT!! Lol Jk, but i'm almost done

can any one on sprint get the hold botton to work to get the conferance call to work? im on the newst calk rom

Iv noticed if you hit the call history button from within the dialer itworks fine, with the arrow at the bottom
But if I go to history from the TF3D home tab the bottom row dont show up, but if you tap where the buttons are supposed to be the actions work??
Not a major issue but kinda weird, Maybe due to the fact that this was really ported over with the intention of being used with Rhodium

Here it is, been working on it for a bit, i'm still gonna finish a few color tweaks and i'll have an update tomorrow, but here's V1.

known bugs:
1. Slide2Answer is not black, i don't know why it isn't. I will try and fix it tomorrow.
2. A few color tweaks need to be added.

EDIT: Due to technical difficulties my black dialer will not be completed. But check out CMYLXGO's black dialer. I am currently working on a new version of this dialer, and i assure you that you have never seen anything like it! Stay tuned for the release :)

When I click on the call history on the home screen everything works and shows up just fine.

I believe this dialer is messing with the sound. I've never had my sound do this before but ever since I've installed this, the sound sometimes is really low. When I look at the volume, it's up full blast. How I noticed it was the on-screen KB I use makes noise everytime I press a key. I went into sounds and notifications and played a sound and it was really low. Anybody else experiencing this?

well i installed it just now. and when i go to plug in my usb cable, it goes directly to ics app... doesnt give me the options anymore to use activesync or diskdrive or ics...uninstalled it and rebooted still the same! anyone know how to get that screen to pop up again when i plug my usb cable in? thanks

Update... i can get activsync to work but only if I uncheck the enable faster data sync and uncheck the ( Ask me first about USB connection type when I connect the device to the pc ) <---when that is check the ics sharing app pops up and also connects to diskdrive lol... So i think it broke the htc usb sync thingy that pops up...



K installed this version running mighty's reborn rom... noticed when u i plugged in my usb cable to my laptop.. nothing showed up on my phone cept ics app... i uninstalled the black tachi phone canvas.. still same problem.. i know for a fact it was this that did it. as it worked just fine prior to installing...now my question is how do i get that the window on my diamond to pop back up when i plus in my usb cable to give me the 3 options to connect?

it also alters the icons on the top in such a way it doesn't allow the BT icon to pop up.

I installed the see all characters fix and it crashes the Manila i'm running when I click on a msg. Maybe I need to install this and then install the SMS crash fix?

I just hard reset that fixed it for me, lol alls well that ends well!!!! this is why i kinds stay a step behind on things so bug and such can get worked out,etc... sorry if i sounded harsh in my post...
