Yeah on my mogul I put it in sleep mode as soon as I start the trip and it doesn't affect my tracking. I did have problems with the uploads though after the last version but I just reuploaded them again per the instructions and they are now showing up correctly. I'm not affiliated with Sportypal. I've just become a big fan of the app and site since this thread started. I have been giving them alot of feedback with regards to my trips and bugs i've encountered. They have been great with responding to me. You're off the WOD, where? Got a bike? If so i've been looking for someone to ride with on the weekdays. |

Re: SportyPal - GPS tracking application
interesting thread, I might just have to try sporty, thought I'd let you know about another free tracker GPSToday, their website is http://www.geoterrestrial.com/ . I haven't figured out how to get distance from tracking yet, but it has lots of good features. Check it out! It's really fast but not so intuitive. Apparently only the standalone version is working properly right now, not the plugin. I'll be interested in seeing any feedback you might have.

Re: SportyPal - GPS tracking application
I can't get this to work on my TP. It hangs at initializing GPS.
On other GPS programs, I usually need to set the program to look for the GPS on COM4, but I don't see any such option here. Any ideas? |
Re: SportyPal - GPS tracking application
I didnt have to set anything up. As long as your GPS ia set to be managed auto (com4,baud 4800) you should be good to go...look in the TP Gps settings...
