Software to play streaming

Mp3 from an icecast server I have set up? Windows media player keeps saying it's a corrupt file or unrecognized format. It's not I'm using oddcast and lamemp3 over icecast to broadcast my police scanner and I would like to listen to it over my diamond but no luck so far anyone have any ideas?
