Multiple Desktops
 

Is there an application (maybe today screen plugin) that allows you to have multiple desktops that programs can open on? I saw on mobile shell 3 you can have an extra wide lifestyle desktop, but I don't think programs actually bind themselves to the desktop, just the widgets.
I think it would be cool to, say, have 3 programs open and be able to slide back and forth between them, like you would with windows and virtual desktops.

The closest you can get is by using SecondToday together with TaskFacade.

I'll check those out. I thought of a different option, too. If there was just a task switcher in the vein of mobile shell 3's spinning page thingy that would be activated upon sliding sideways, that would work, too. It wouldn't, necessarily, have to be on separate desktops.

Greetings. I think you might like spb pocket plus. You can have 6 taps, which each tab can show 12 programs. I may be wrong on those numbers, but i love it cause its just like a desktop screen, but with up to 6 desktop tabs. Heres s screen shot which will explain better than my rotten written reply.

That just looks like multiple launcher screens. I'm talking about being able to have multiple programs open and switching between them. As a close example, manila2d has the picture viewer and mp3 player and you can slide back and forth between them. I would like the same ability, but to be able to use whatever programs I prefer.
