Re: Opera 9.5 Beta 2 with keyboard fix

Thank you! The keyboard fix is great. But, I am having the same problems as others. Opera won't open at times and when I close it the widgets open.

Have you tried a soft reset and then deleting it? I have had this type of message every once in a while with various programs. Did the error message say anything about the program running or being used at the moment?

Re: Opera 9.5 Beta 2 with keyboard fix

Where are you going to delete it? Have you tried going into File Explorer and delete it from there? Also, do you have a CAB of it somewhere on your device? And lastly, what ROM are you using? Is it possible that it was cooked into the ROM and that is why you are having difficulty removing it. Sorry I can't give you a quick and easy solution.

I should add that I too deleted it because of the problems I was having but I continued to have the same issues with another version of opera. It was like the keyboard fix was still there. So, I just did a hard reset and that took care of it. Hate to say it but that might be the quickest fix.

Re: Opera 9.5 Beta 2 with keyboard fix

The best way to stop the widget screen from popping up is to select "exit" from the menu (accessed by pressing the little carrot on the bottom right). It will give you three options (exit/cancel/minimize). If you try to close it with the "x" in the top right it will take you to the widget screen every time and you will have a hard time launching it the next time you try.

Why is this? Seems like a really annoying feature/glitch.
