Re: Windows Mobile 6.5 and Garmin Mobile XT?

I installed it on energyrom last night... never had any issues with the rom until this point. This morning it started freezing and I had to soft reset 2 or 3 times. Got to the point where I just had to hard reset.

I never had those issues with Garmin and WM6.5, although I'm on At&t so my radio is different.

Try switching Garmin from COM4 to GPS Intermediate Driver, or the other way around depending on your current settings.

Wirelessly posted (HTC-P4600/1.2 Opera/9.50 (Windows NT 5.1; U; en))

This seems close to the right thread to ask in so here goes... I have Garmin XT installed on my Card but after flashing it does not appear in the App list, I am using 6.5 on a verizon TP2 running EnergyROM with Sense 2.5. However I don't think the ROM has anything to do with it (had this problem on my TP after flashing).

Thanks in advance.

No. When you go into Garmin, tap on the GPS signal bars, click Disable, then select "Use GPS Intermediate Driver", then Done. It'll ask you to re-enable GPS, say Yes.

See how that works. Not sure if it'll make a difference or not, but worth a try.

Re: Windows Mobile 6.5 and Garmin Mobile XT?

Garmin works great on my Omnia I910 with wm 6.5

For the 2577 folder at startup i just made a folder called locker on my sd card and put it in there so i dont get all of the prompts after restart and its always around when i need to do a reinstall. I keep stuff like startmenu icons, wallpapers, etc. in the locker folder too.
U should get u one

OK, I dont have that choice for some reason.... I got da following:

- Use Bluetooth GPS
- Use Attached GPS
- COM4: COM4:
- COM6: RIL on COM6:
- COM7: COM7:
- COM8: Serial on USB
- COM9: Virtual COM9
