Re: [WP-Activate] Mobile Shell 3.0 to WeatherPanel Interface

Long time fan of your work, storyr!

I'm having a glitch that must be my setup. Screen01.jpg shows my Today screen with WP using PhatPhinger II on my Omnia. Screen02.jpg shows what I get when I invoke wpA.lnk. That screen is the alert screen perhaps? When I 'X' out I'm back in MS3 so I can't ever get to my other WP panels (daily forecast, radar, etc.)

What am I doing wrong?

WP-Activate activates WeatherPanel's pop-up windows, not the today plugin. Surely you've tapped on your WeatherPanel layout and popped up the current conditions window (which is what you posted)?

You're not doing anything wrong - that's the way it works.

Accepted. So going back to your first post, your pop-up window has the current conditions window but it also has buttons to get to the forecast and radar layouts. I guess that's what I'm missing. You can navigate to your windows via those buttons whereas my current conditions has no such buttons.

I will check my settings but if you happen to know where I should be looking, thanks for letting me know.

Perhaps my limitation is that I am using PhatPhinger II for my Omnia where your layouts are from IV? IV has the buttons on the Current Conditions where II does not?

Yes, as you guessed, it's the Omnia layout - ported from an earlier version of PhatPhinger that doesn't have the navigation buttons in the pop-ups.

I guess I'll need to port PhatPhatphinger IV to WQVGA...

I don't know the effort to port but it would be appreciated. The navigation buttons appears to be what would make this interface go. WP is the only reason I ever have to go to Today currently.

works fine in my VGA FLAME
it will be a good idea to create a wedget to show the actual information as appear in today screen , is this possibale ?
or at least a single icon showing today weather info.

if so , it will be a GREAT adding to WP loveres & MSH3 users

It's not possible to show WP as it appears in the screen - until MS3 provides a today plugin widget.

BUT, I've made what I think is a major breakthrough and have successfully created widget that shows the current icon and temperature. I'm working through one final installation issue and hope to have it released soon...
