Re: TFdetacher Help
You should only have one .cab file. Check for the latest version at the author's website - http://www.codeplex.com/TFDetacher
The installation instructions (copied below) are on the home page - Requirements Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional .Net Compact Framework 2.0 Device running TouchFlo 3D Installation Instructions 1. Install the CAB 2. Run TFDConfig (important!!!) 3. Enable all the standard Today Items you want to use 4. Do not re-enable TouchFlo in the Today items (if you do, it will undo all your other Today plugins and your device might freeze up, requiring a soft reset) --Works great on my Diamond. Hope this helps, --TonyK. |

Re: TFdetacher Help
Not out-of-box compatible with Diamond2 / Pro2's TouchFlo 3D. Workaround: Change manila exe and full path to use manil2.exe instead of manila.exe. Note: Please test to see if this works with 1.0.1.0 as there is a report it only works with 1.0.0.5.
This may not apply to your situation, however I don't know it's compatibility with Titanium.

Re: TFdetacher Help
Titanium, as far as I know, actually runs within the Today screen. The reason TFD works is because Manila does not actually run inside the Today screen. It has a bootstrapper that runs in the Today screen that launches Manila.exe. TFD becomes the bootstrapper and controls Manila's visibility state. Your Today screen is always there with TFD enabled, it's just hidden by Manila sometimes.
Ok, so to get tf detacher to work with manila2 and titanium, just install tfdetacher then the attached xml file using dot fred taskmanager then soft reset. Now the right softkey, when the clock is highlighted in titanium, will switch to manila2 and the right softkey on the main page of manila2, will switch back to titanium. This should work fine with original manila too if you change this line "<parm name="TouchFloEXEOnly" datatype="string" value="manil2.exe"/> to "<parm name="TouchFloEXEOnly" datatype="string" value="manila.exe"/>" in the xml file. Hope this helps you man and any others wishing to accomplish this setup. Last edited by santod; 04-26-2009 at 03:36 PM. |

Re: TFdetacher Help
Use Dot Fred to install the file. Other Task Managers may be able to install it as well, not sure though. Here's Dot Fred.
