It says "The button ??? is not assigned to Vlingo" and then all i can do is try again ro go back. Any ideas?

Thanks!!

Since for some reason HTC decided we wouldn't want to map functions to any key that we would like you have to have a patched keyboard dll. The only one I can find is for GSM.

.......Ok ok you can use this if you have a ROM or kitchen with Patched keyboard dll. Da_G's kitchen for example he has the patched keyboard and you can assign what you want. But vlingo is buggy w/6.5. Fixed CAB Attached

We can map the Send key though? I had mine mapped to Voice Command, couldn't I just use that key for Vlingo instead? Sorry if that's a noob question..

I honestly have no clue lol, I'm with you on that one. Maybe someone more knowledgeable will chime in.

FYI I replied to the email that vlingo sent me and asked about when they would open up the beta to HTC devices and here's their response:

Hello!

It is our goal to make Vlingo available for all phones worldwide. To that end, we are continuously evaluating all phones including the HTC devices.

This all looks very interesting, and a good 'band-aid' until TellMe is released. I am downloading now to try on my Omnia, but does anyone that has this running know if it will read new text messages back to you, or just dictate new ones?

Its running great on my incite but it don't use that phone at all. I'll look at the features to see. The blackberry version has more features tho. I'll chime in soon. right now just dictate new one. but that may be an up coming feature.

I tried it on my Omnia. No luck yet but I'll keep toying with it.

From what a Vlingo rep has told me, it won't work at all onmost of the cooked 6.5 roms.
