Program to restart the phone?
Hi there
I've be using a HTC Diamond for few months and with all cooks help, I'm loving it. I was searching for an app which can auto restart my phone on a daily basis to clean the temps. I found an app, CT Scheduler, quite useful, however, it's not free. Recently, I found I can launch an app on a daily basis in G-Alarm. That makes me thinking if I had a small app that restarts the phone, then my goal achieved! My question now is: where can I find such a program? I tried the restart program provided in Mighty ROM, however, it prompts you to restart or not. I have to click yes to proceed. that's not what I want. Thanks in advance! |
aa reset manager. free from xda. can't find the link right now but I use it as you describe.

Re: Program to restart the phone?
i could never get that to work on my touch pro. kept giving me errors :( I think there's another one available called psShupxp that will allow scheduled soft-resets.

Re: Program to restart the phone?
Or you could use the clean RAM app that ronenpg at xda came out with. It practically eliminates the need for soft resets. He just added the clean the start menu feature I requested, and the app rocks!!

Re: Program to restart the phone?
Thanks everyone. But my intention is not to keep multiple timer in the memory. G-Alarm is the one I wanted to keep.
An example of such a small program is BTToggle. I can schedule to run it in G-Alarm so that BT will be turn on or off automatically. |

Ask and you shall receive.
Attached is a freeware soft reset program that works very well on my TP. You should be able to use it in conjunction with G-Alarm. Credit goes to Raiisak over at XDA |
Re: Program to restart the phone?
The clean RAM app is amazing. Definitely speeds up your phone if you clean on Level 2.

Re: Program to restart the phone?
Or you can try PSShutXP. It's free and skinnable with lots of custom skins.
