Also how do you modify the taskbar and such? I don't want calander on the bottom left of the screen... and how do you get those battery options?

pardon the total noob question, this is my first attempt at loading anything on to the mogul.

i have unzipped and loaded all files onto my storage card. from there, i go through file explorer and start the file ' homecust.exe' and it takes me through all of the various things you can change.

after each adjustment, it says something like 'this has been changed' and i hit ok - so it takes me back to the menu with other options.

when i exit the program to view the changes, it says something like 'this will take a minute, press ok to exit'. so i hit ok, and nothing happens. fast forward 5 minutes later, still nothing.

i go through the same procedure as before thinking i shouldnt have hit 'ok' to exit, and let my phone just sit and (hopefully) cycle through and let the changes take hold. no change at all.

any thoughts?

Here is a thought and suggest that I had. I see this project taking off and everyone wanting to add their own icons, clocks, etc. Unfortunately, that means the app is going to keep growing in size. One thought I had was having the app use Total Commander to access the ftp and then it could just download needed files. Then you would not need to take up space with endless graphic files. Just an idea.

that's great colonel. now that there is on the fly options, a person could just delete the folders not needed too.

EDIT: Applies to version 0.6a and below

OK, it seems that we are getting more and more people having issues and I think I know why. You MUST be running WM6 AND use the CAB from the package in order for all of the options to work "out of the box." As stated previously, there are several different versions of this plugin out there, and that makes it difficult to figure out if it's a problem with my app or with the device/plugin you are using.

For WM5 users, there are a couple options if you don't want to wait for the next version. Please refer to the prior posts by bmtbandit and naigaboy. They explain why it doesn't work and what you need to do to make it work.

To help me (or anyone that may have the knowledge to help) troubleshoot/debug, please include the device you are using, Windows Mobile version you are running and which HTC Home Plugin you are trying to use it with.

BTW, I would really appreciate feedback on the current feature set and options. If you have a suggestion to improve it, do not hesitate to post it.

Working well for me

Personally I love what you've done with it. I've gotten pictures just to set picture contacts, and I'm using the media screen while I'm sitting here at work. The weather on the homepage is awesome, although I'm saddened it doesn't have radar, but that I can do without for the functionality of what you've helped to provide us with. I cannot get the colors to work, I'm on a Mogul running WM6, but I'm hoping to work that out myself, it's probably user error, haha. But really, thanks a bunch for working so much on this! I've got v5 and I'm awaiting v6, although I don't see too much else to add! User customization goes as deep as I need it to without it getting confusing.

(edit - mogul is running WM6)

Can someone answer this question. I'd like to edit the vibrate profile to make it vibrate and ring. Is that possible.

THANKS
