Re: New release...SPB TV!!
very nice find, love the way it has pip and it tells you battery percent plus the time and connection. one issue i found is it plays hell with the tp briteness settings after you exit the app. well worth 14 bux. as far as freeware tv, the ones ive used dont compare to this, its only 14 bux.

Re: New release...SPB TV!!
The TV app is based on the SPB Online TV portion, but expanded on a bit.
BlackOceaN...your right, there is a lot of freeware out there, but with full support (SPB is good there) and the option to request stations added, it is a pretty good deal at $15. The TV app does run well, the reminders work great, and overall is pretty easy to use! darren.wlsn1...the PIP is pretty cool. Wait till you try a reminder (if you purchase this) it integrates well with the calender on your PPC. I have watched a lot of older movies on one of the Americana stations!!! |

Re: New release...SPB TV!!
Cool...I was just thinking about Diamond TV a while ago, it will be interesting to see how many new stations get added on soon after it starts spreading, I am sure a lot of people will be sending in a LOT of requests!!!

Re: New release...SPB TV!!
i hated diamond tv, plus he was supposed to send me a key for free for all my work i sent him, never got one and im glad i saved all my work. syrguy, how does spb play, like what player does it use? im guessing its something they have like tcpmp or something.

Re: New release...SPB TV!!
It is all self-contained, it does not open any media player for viewing. All you need to do is hit the TV icon and it will open a mini-screen with a listin under it, and when you chose a station to watch it will go to full screen.
I know what you mean about Diamond, I sent in a lot of links as well and never heard anything, and the ones there almost never connected for me, I dropped it fast. Is he still working on it? I haven't heard anything out of the forums on it in a while! |
