www.laridian.com I use Pocket Bible 4 for Windows Mobile and I have the NIV, The Message, TNIV, and the KJV along with the NIV Bible Study Notes, commentaries and a bunch of free reading plans. I paid for the Pocket Bible 4, the Message, and the NIV everything else was free. Well worth it. |
Re: Bible Program? Anybody know of any?
The only problem I have is that most of the Bible software programs for WM aren't touch friend. Laridian is short of touch friend, but still many of the buttons are too small. I wish we could develop a skin for Laridian.

Re: Bible Program? Anybody know of any?
I have Laridian as well, I like the reader, but it isn't really touch friendly. But then, it's barely winmo 5 friendly, so touch friendly too is asking quite a bit. You can go to the navigation page of the settings and change it so that touching the screen in various places does various things, that helps.

Re: Bible Program? Anybody know of any?
I was a looooong time Olive Tree for like 8 years but just recently switched to Laridian. In my opinion, OliveTree has been focusing much of their new development on the iphone and has really neglected WiMo devices. They have the most extensive resources but unfortunatley their Bible Reader program really is a bit archaic.
Laridian's product is nicer and supports gestures for scrolling which really is helpful. Their implementation of landsape is also nicer. |
Re: Bible Program? Anybody know of any?
esword works flawlessly for me on my pro.

(one other feature of Laridian that I like is that they have a corresponding desktop reader which allows you to use all your Bible texts/resources also on your PC. No need to buy a PC bible program too.) |
Re: Bible Program? Anybody know of any?
Ive checked out all the ones mentioned, its not like there terrible, but man what I would not do for a decent finger friendly bible program. Maybe we would be better off going for a nice pdf reader? I think you can get all major version via pdf for cheap, is there any really great finger friendly document/pdf reader?
