good progress I tried on wm 6.1
what did the package offer? I need to fully check that package to see if EVERYTHING was removed. I ripped it from dutty's hd rom so please give feedback
ty for the update
also does the rom include tflo itself? if so, has it caused any issues with tmail, like a tmail crash? so far I was under the impression touchflo caused a crash in preliminary wm 6.5 roms

yes. the rom itself includes touchflo. the "marriage" of the two has been rather impressive so far. i had some problems getting used to the honeycomb but i'm ok with it now.

i have installed every app i normally use with almost perfect results. all my mail is working perfectly (i use seven to push my mail). gps got a lock on 9 sats within a minute of walking outside my office and loading google. i also tried tomtom 7 and igo8. works perfectly (although for some reason, igo8 seems to hang a bit before loading).

i've also installed diamond hologram, diamond cubes, the new xda htc calculator for VGA, icontact, plus a few other things.

pandora is not working for some reason at the moment. it starts to load then it just stays at the commecting screen.

the other thing i've found so far not working (and i think i've seen it posted) is that the dialer skin won't change.

i'm still having the problem of touchflo shutting down for no reason.

i just setup my bluetooth plantronics headset. it seems to be working fine but there isn't a bluetooth icon or a bluetooth/headset connection icon on top.

after spending most of the day so far with this combination, i think i may take it off. the bluetooth if flaky, the dialpad is flaky, pandora still isn't working and everything is really sluggish right now. i really like the setup but in this early stage of things, it's just too unstable and sluggish.

anyone else try this combination?

time for me to cook a wm 6.5 rom...maybe I'll use scrosler's kitchen
JD's kitchen didn't work for me...no matter what but that's cool... even i had issues installing cabs on wm 6.5
but I also found a thread on xda developers that are making progress with it. I think I may wait for xboxmod though not so sure...its a bit exciting.

Maybe the next project can be panels LMAO

My thoughts on some of the features.

And it probably does not have the bug of trying to make a call if you press the "R" key while in Contacts :) .

-New Calendar interface that provides links to day to day calendar information. (it didn’t seem to highlight days with events on the calendar)
It looks like days with events have a little triangle in the upper right corner of those days.

Since the Touch HD calendar didn't do anything, whatever was added is good :) . (Well at least what we have in the HD port calendar does not do anything but show a calendar.)

-Stocks Tab has been changed from a graph to a linear view. (I don't know if this is a plus or not)
Got a feeling I might not find it to be a plus. I liked that graph :) .

-LANDSCAPE, this is the BIG plus. It is a true TF3D interface on the landscape view, very very nice.
Yes, very, very nice.

-New conference call wizard application.
If we get this in the port, I wonder if it will actually work with Sprint?

-enhanced clock/alarms screen
Cool.

-new calculator
Yes the new calculator is nice. That was certainly something in WM that was begging for improvement.

Funny that I missed the calendar triangles, thanks

So if we install this will we lose any of our contacts or text messages? I have them backed up already, but I would like to know before I tried it out.

How would anyone know...we don't have it yet and know one has installed except the testers.

you can integrate the package provided and cook it into a rom
in fact the entire manila as well as the sys files from the touch pro 2 has been dumped and it is around here somewhere

My suggestion is to check out the thread or the xda developers thread so we can contribute something and maybe have some faster progress

As far as touchflo 3d working on it, it does...I just cooked it in a rom but it is very big...and I can't see the bottom scroller thing

as far as that goes, it runs a bit fast, but heavily buggy. It crashes a lot..I'm sure xbox has discovered a workaround to it because his experience is greater than mine

I'm going to guess there's no way to get this ported or working on the vogue, right? :(:(

I would LOVE that..

a lot isn't known yet and it hasn't been ported to anything yet so...... Did you try the HD port and did it work? if it worked for you then theres a chance, it not then you're really out of luck.
