According to some people at XDA, the backup programs that you use to save your contacts store them incorrectly, and are therefore incompatible. I'm testing this theory now.

Like PIMBackup?
Looking forward to your results.

Did you make OEMs yet? If so, would you share? I'm having troubles with Ervious PC tonight.

you'll need an app that deals with rar files....I use pocket RAR on my ppc. I tried to upload the package all zipped up but it was too big. I will break it down in chunks later.

I just tested on a new hard reset, contacts are in fact working with my PIMbackup restore.

So those accusations were in fact false.

They're working on a fix for the CDMA SMS issue.

THE NEW BUILD INSTALLS MUCHHHHHHHHHH QUICKER, well it did for me at least.

I haven't got OEMs for the new build yet, Dharvey will release his own on the main page probably tommorow.

Re: [APP] XBmod Manila Rhodium (TP2) port~BETA 1a Released! 3.22.09 5PM PST

NOTES:::
IF you have a problem with the weather tab crashing after install, delete one or both of the following files:

\Application Data\HTC\databases\forecast_cache.db
or
\Windows\2330fc3c_manila

I cannot for the life of me delete the file in windows. And even when I have deleted the forecast_cache file and try to add a city again, tf3d would crash again. any ideas? I am using juicy_5 first, then this on top of it.

it also cannot display the actual txt that you received. it will show some abbreviated txt in tf3d, but once you clicked the message, it would not show up the actual words.

also I cannot send sms. it will say no SIM card inserted, and I was finally able to fix the issue for weather tab, but there's problem still in the add a city in time. I am going to hard reset back to Juicy for now and wait for the next release. but this mod, looks VERY promising.

That is a relief! Thanks for the update.

I cooked with the older OEM and will just install the cab update for now.

Edit: from xboxmod himself:
About the sys 21000:
Htc finger friendly menu need it,
but manila can work on older build
i need more test for new mail account & email setup & notification.

First, I gotta say this looks SWEET! Excellant Job ! I hope I can use it!

Ok so a couple quick questions....
First, I have the 19965 build, and I want to be clear about the above statement, b4 I install this...Does the above mean that I can install this, but the "BIG" finger friendly menu's will just show up as the "standard" small one's? Or does it mean the menu's wont work at all?

Next, Is there a way to un-install this, or do you have to do a hard reset to get everyting back to stock?

Lastly, Have the few bugs, listed in this thread been fixed yet? ie. texting bug and contacts list causing lockups, Or should we wait a bit for the bugs to be worked out?

Thanks for the great work,
0Gravity
