I've been following this thread for the past few days, I was thinking of trying the android install tonight. I guess I'm curious as to how many people are up and working call/text/data on the RAPH800 CDMA?

I for one am using Makkonen's newest zImage and trying to get USB support working, text/data are fine. Microphone still isn't working, let me know if your "u" key doesn't work.

To my knowledge, it isn't working very well for us Verizoneers.

I've pretty much given up on the 20091217 build, it soft resets 15 seconds after Android finishes loading.

Gonna try a complete format of SD card and reinstall everything new, but if that doesn't work I guess I'll go back to 20091208.

I run Android 1.6 with Makkonen's CDMA Data/Voice kernel.
Receive/Send texts just fine.
Didn't bother with calls as no microphone support currently.
Battery always reports 5%.
Wayyyy faster than WinMo.
Better in every way than WinMo IMO.

I would love to see Android be made into a native ROM, just like with the Vogue, later on.
I hope this is possibly in the next year.
I love this phone, hate the software.
Android would make this an awesome phone.
Especially since we have other people working on 2.0.1.
