Good work! On that note were looking for developers for the Diam 500 over at a XDA thread. Were trying to speed things up and several members on that thread have indicated that they would be willing to donate to anybody interested in taking on the task of modifying the code and building a working port.

Same package as from my previous post and the first post in the thread, from Connect-UTB. It's not mine, all I did was tweak the zImage (the kernel).

I am REALLY surprised that this thread hasn't exploded... Makkonen's build works and as far as I know this is the first time the port has been made to work with the CDMA radio... Am I the only one who feels like the difference between Data and no Data is simply a matter of the correct APN settings? If someone could just get 3G running this port would be almost fully functional. Way to go Makkonen!

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm very much impressed. The link's over on connect-utb, so that should get the explosion of interest as early as this evening. As for CDMA data, it's only a matter of time. Don't discount your achievement, it's something that no one else has done yet, and having done some kernel dev myself (um... 14 years ago...) it's not a trivial thing to start poking around the internals. Well done, Makkonen.

I Used To Love Playing Around With This On My Touch Pro.. I Ended Up Selling My Touch Pro To Help Pay For The Cost Of A Touch Pro 2.. Any Idea If This Would Work With A Touch Pro 2??

Sorry I got problem: kernel panic and reboot ,but can normal boot when I use zImage-RAPH800-2009-10-14 from bertraland.com, of course no data.
Any suggestion?

No Luck For The TP2.. I Tried It AnyWays And When I Try To Open The HaRET I Get "Cannot open script file/Application Data\Volatile\zipview\210004\default.txt" Error.. Oh Well, It Was Worth A Try.. This Makes Me Want To Buy A Touch Pro Just To Play With This Again..
