not yet - will do though when I get a chance - I'll post my results

@sisith:
If I ran Linux already I would try your instructions. It seems a bit like overkill to install Linux for the sole purpose of formatting my microSD card. But thanks anyway, I'm sure it will come in handy for those in situation that also have Linux.

Re: [6-21-09] Android for CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800 and Diamond) Ported!!!

you dont need to install using a livecd, just insert the cd, boot from it and you have a working linux OS to use until you reboot. Linux comes in handy alot.

played with this - got it running on my telus touchpro. very neat loading method so it doesnt mess with your windows mobile install - I liked that a lot - giving your phone a new operating system that could be loaded from within a different one.

I wish more stuff on it was functional, and the on screen keyboard was a laugh, but overall very neat to see this. it feels like an pre alpha build, which in terms of functionality thats really what it is.

Can't wait to see where this goes.

I was wondering about that one - I couldn't find any change log and I had already tried the one dated 9/7/09 - I'll be interested to know if there anything new...

Touch Pro Direct Download Link

UPDATE: (7-10-09) here is the link for the latest HTC DIAM500. This should work for the sprint version without any modifications...

DIAM500 Download Page Click Here

UPDATE 2: (7-10-09)Use this to configure your Default.txt file to match your TouchPro Version:
HTC Android Configuration Tool 0.5.5 Direct Link

Android Port Originating Post and Download

Instructions:

1 - Download the .zip file and extract the contents to your desktop. You should have a folder called tmp there now.

2 - Connect your phone to the computer with a mini-USB cable.

3 - copy the tmp folder to your memory card root. The tmp should then be located in [memory card]/tmp Inside the tmp folder is a boot folder. You may put that anywhere or
leave it in tmp.

4 - Disconnect the usb-cable and soft-reset your Touch Pro.

5 - Open up the file explorer, find the tmp directory and launch haret.exe and click run.

6 - Wait for android to boot up, and enjoy! At the first boot it takes a while before the android boot screen comes up and then the boot screen (with the glowing android) stays up quite long before you get to the boot screen.
Subsequent boots are faster.

is this what you did to get yours working? mine is just scrolling. has been for 2 CSI episodes lol

No - those instructions are out-dated - they should work for the older builds but the newer ones have newer instructions
