(this why i cant never go to any other platform...love wm!)

That is ONE reason why I cannot go to an iPhone (though they are decent phones and such) or another platform.

My main reason is because of communities like this. The possibilities of WM phones is endless - where as there are hard-set limits on what you can do with an iPhone or BB. Now it is understandable apple took the rout they did considering they want it in the hands of EVERYONE... and everyone does not need everything :)

my mogul used CDMA and Android worked flawlessly with the radio. Txt messaging, calling, etc. Even the DATA worked! I say that someone needs to look into the config on the vogue/mogul and extract the settings for he CDMA, it has been done and we can make this a HUGE progress!

yeah..im aware of it (im sure the developers too), but every device is different. its not as simply as a PC OS (intall drivers and your done), but mobile devices r just not that easy. hopefully we will see fullu working android on the touch pro?diamond in the near future.

I am not sure as I am not doing any development right now but I believe its simply a matter of the devices not using the same radio hardware therefore you cannot just take whats working on the vogue and drop it on the DIAM/RAPH. Could be wrong but from what I have been reading on that specific subject it seems that way.

Yes exactly. You cannot just take drivers for another piece of hardware and expect for them to function. Give the android team time, there are plenty of people who what this to happen as much as we do. PS the hero is coming out in CDMA and has very similar specs to the touch pro, it is quite possible things from the hero build may get us moving.

I'm not saying that we just cut and paste. I'm saying that we look into the vogue's system and see what it's doing to make the CDMA radio work. Their definitely not same radios, or drivers for that matter, but looking into it never hurt to see what settings/configurations were used to make it possible. We all run on the CDMA 900/1800 network, so their HAS to be some type of similar configs we can use to make progress and hopefully make it work properly.
