Yes, it will uninstall just fine.

Re: Rhodium Notification Manager/Enhancement & Menu Both Updated[3/10/09][ONLINE]

well i tested both. neither work on a stock sprint rom

you guys think this might be an artificial limitation? Like HTC knows that their devices that will run build 21000 or higher are their newest devices so they just check and see if the build is high enough before functioning correctly?

I heard something about a new version of GWES.exe, but I may be off. It's definitely possible that it's a small measure to delay us in porting features to other devices.

Re: Rhodium Notification Manager/Enhancement & Menu Both Updated[3/10/09][ONLINE]

Posted this in the other Rhodium thread, but that appears to be deleted.

I added this, and when I get a new notification, I click it, it opens the notification window. Then when I actually click on the notification (text, email, etc) it just removes the notification and leaves me at that window. Is this how it's supposed to work, or should it take me to see the notification.

This is the new HTC Rhodium Notification Manager also known as Notification Enhancement.

It has been resized to VGA and seems to work well but it is still not release quality software.

I only experience one bug that I'm not sure is even a bug. When you receive a new notification such as an SMS, you click on the title bar then click on the new notification and then you must click close. It does not automatically close the Notification Manager on it's own.

NOTES::
1. You should have a 21000 or higher build before using this.

Here is a screenshot of it working on my AT&T Fuze running the RRE 5 Fuze ROM:
(Note: it looks better on the phone)

Installation instructions:
1. Install cab
2. Soft-reset
3. Enjoy(except for the annoying bug)

[b]If anyone here thinks they can fix this annoying bug then please by all means post the fix. Lets show the everyone what community really means!!

Don't Forget To Click Thanks
I am fairly sure I know of at least a quick fix for your bug not sure if it will work but its a possibility. for those who know mortscript you could write a script to run when the the exe that runs the notification manager executes. the idea is when the notification manager pops up on the screen mortscript runs the script waits a reasonable amount of time then shuts it down. if you wanted to get more in depth with it then you could make it to where when you go to the application you got a notification about then it would close the application. but that would be a much longer more complicated script but very possible. now this is only an idea especially since I am not even running this notification manager yet but seems plausible in my head. just an idea for some coders out there.

this works GREAT on calcu's 4.5 kitchen... only minor issue i see is that the onscreen down arrow doesnt respond to presses. works fine thru nav pad though.

Re: Rhodium Notification Manager/Enhancement & Menu Both Updated[3/10/09][ONLINE]

Menu enhancement works great on Juicy's 4.7 rom. It's even compatible with some of the other apps that I've used that were not compatible with FingerMenu.

I found the notification enhancement to just add extra steps to an already cumbersome process.

I'm not convinced that it's even working right yet. The fact that most of us can't get the pop-up bubble to work at all certainly suggests that something is not quite there yet...
