Need help with HTC Touch Dual

I was refered to this forum by Howard Forums for help regarding my New Telus HTC Touch Dual

I am totally new to this type of phone and was wondering if someone could please help me or quide me on how to correctly download and install Themes , applications and games

My phone is totally stock and i would like to personalize it what are some of the most common applications that people are loading on these devices

your help would be greatly appreciated
