Re: [3/11/09] InCall Screen Tweak v1.0.8 (auto turns screen on/off during call)
I originally had to uninstall v1.0.6 because it's performance was so erratic on my phone (sprint diamond).
This latest version, v1.0.8, is much better!:) My one complaint is that I have to press the power button on several times to override. OK, one more complaint but there's not much that can be done about it... this app doesn't work well if you are lying down. |

err. can u make the time interval a user changeable setting in the next version? I find it kinda slow.. I'd like a more instantaneous response

This sure does work for me BUT I'm not noticing it working via light-sensor. I've tested it out to the max and as far as I my experience is going, it looks like it's running solely off the g-sensor. I have a CDMA Touch Pro on Mighty 4.13.

Re: [3/11/09] InCall Screen Tweak v1.0.8 (auto turns screen on/off during call)
Installed this on my CDMA Diamond. Great concept, but didn't work out too well.
As others have mentioned, it is way too slow turning the screen back on. I can press the power button and turn the screen back on before it does it automatically, which defeats the purpose. It would be great if the screen was back on by the time I got the phone back in front of my face. Also, as someone else mentioned, it fails when laying down. Also, sometimes stops working altogether and you have to press the power button anyway. Looking forward to seeing this app develop some. It's a great concept. |
