VIP Ring ToneManager

I have been using VIP Ring Tone Manager ( http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-...tone-v5-0.html ) on my Apache running WinMo 6.1 without issue.

I recently bought an Omnia i910, and the program acts like it is working, but never changes any of my ringtones for anyone.

I originally posted this in the omnia thread, but not getting much help there, so I am posting it here in case someone knows how to fix it, or knows of a suitable replacement app that manages ringtones based on groups, etc, like VIP does, and doesn't do much of anything else.

someone suggested phone alarm, but that does way more than I want or need, and is a much larger program. VIP is a run once thing, not something that runs in persistent mode

Well, that link leads to version 5.0. If that's the version you're trying to use on your Omnia, than perhaps you should try the latest version and see if that works, which is 8.1.

thanx! I didn't realize there was a newer one, when I googled it only showed me version 4.x with a link to 5.0

I think it did the trick
