This seems to be working fine on the Diamond but anyone actually get it working correctly (voices on both sides) on the Sprint Touch Pro?

I've gotten this to work on my tp using mighty's 4.12 but i wouldn't say it works well. it still records the other side of the call faintly. i think this is as good as its going to get on the tp

the tp has a hardware limitation that does not allow internal recording of calls... any software will be forced to use the mic/speakerphone

The phone has digital voice synthesizer, so it's possible to intercept the software (DSP) api to output the incoming voice to the recorder software. HTC either releases their API or makes their own recording software (ICR). I tried ICR.cab downloaded from XDA but it doesn't record incoming call.

I don't see a directory named \My Documents\Notes as outlined in the first post. Was this supposed to be created by the cab? Am I supposed to create it? Where is everyone else's recording saved to?

the cab created the folder "recordings" in my internal storage...

fatboy, if your question was for me, im on a stock tp installed only the one xab to main mem. no reg edits or anything else installed. it created a folder on sd card called recordings and it does record my end and theres. thats all i can say, it works on my tp.

Hi guys

I thought this was already sort out back in Jan. I've successfully recorded BOTH side LOUD and CLEAR for the first time in indagroove's diamond ROM when he released it with clear statement "In Call Recording". I then moved to many other ROMs because his ROM is SPRINT specific ROM. However, I exchanged some words from him before I moved. This were what he said what you need to get it working:

1. S2A
2. voAMRNBEnc.dll
3. ICR Program

I then installed many other ROMs include stock, mighty, juicy, etc. Each time I installed a new ROM, I installed above three if needed. It works just fine for me. I'll say indagroove stands very CORRECT and CLEAR about this.

For item 1 above, you'll absolutely need it to display "Start Recording" during your call. I'll think this is kind of skin thing you needed to correctly display.
For 2, you need a "correct" version. I don't know what is a "correct" version. But in one of the Mighty ROM, it has a different version. If you don't install the "correct" version, it wouldn't work. for someone who said this is not needed, it's because you had it already cooked in your ROM. Another observation is that you may need follow some kind of order to install it. I installed item 2 before I install item 3 one time and it fails on me. I then installed item 2 again (after installed item 3), it works fine.
For item 3, what else can I say, you need it to run.

Above are my experience on this issue. Hopefully, it will give you a hint. I may upload some files if you huys needed. but they are so easy to find and flying all around the place these days.

voAMRNBEnc.dll is just a library that has a sub routine function enabling ICR software to encode the voice data in AMR format. You do not need this file if you set the encoding to WAV format. Most cooked ROM has this files installed if they include voice recording software in their rom.

ICR installed fine on my Sprint touch pro and function like it should except it does not record the incoming caller voice with stock ROM. Anyone has luck to get it record incoming caller on Sprint Touch Pro?
