actually i ditched the app all together for now... its slowing down my mogul so much and not sending texts.. im gonna wait for 14 for now im using palm threader

this is my favorite app by far and ive been with it literally from the start but my mogul cant handle it right now... im very excited for 14 tho

mark me down for the SMS sending being messed up...
and I don't really like having to select the SIP everytime either, it doesn't save your selection and its kinda lame to pick the input device everytime you need to send a text. I just installed 12 a few days ago and was hoping for more sms control like deleting messages and this seemed exciting but after reading on the PCM forum it seems he pushed this out quick because a beta leaked? but in any case I'm going with WTIR and uninstalling until its more stable, I really love the potential in this program and will definitely come back, but it's not ready for prime time. ALso I don't see the point of the phonepad if all it does is look up an entry in the contacts. At first I thought it was going to be a dialer functionality, but it's not... I' don't really see the point except for integrating the beginings of what will eventually become a dialer...

i always use my slider for texting on my 6800 - that's why i chose the 6800, for the slide-out keyboard. if i wanted to soley use on-screen i would have gotten an iphone.

I use the slider too, but the sip is nice for a quick response like "ok" etc... but with this version I can't even use the sliding keyboard, the SMS sending function is just broken

SO actually..

You have to press and hold the SEND button to send the SMS in 0.13. I believe the author added this feature as a safety feature in case one accidentally hit the SEND button before one has finished composing a message.

so heads up on the new version.. keep your finger on send for a quarter second..

how impatient can we be?
lloooll

good call on that, holding the send does work to send sms...but still the keyboard stuff is all screwy

mr_ding 09-12-2007 11:09 AM

Using PCM 0.13 along with Slide2Unlock 1.216 (it fails to display incoming calls) when I turned off the phone. Normally it will wake up on lock screen, with CallerID displaying. However, with PCM 0.13 installed, it jumps directly to today screen, without any buttons to answer phone.
As soons as I uninstall PCM, the CallerID from Slide2Unlock screen comes back.

Has anyone seen this problem as well?
