I just made an OEM of PocketCM 0.5 for our Apache kitchen. Find it here:

I'm wondering if there's a setting somewhere that defines the width of the text box so that it can be widened to occupy the full width and thus not wrap down to subsequent lines so that more information can be displayed.

As it stands right now, if the street address is anything longer than say 7 characters, you won't be able to see the zip code and sometimes even the state since they're forced down below the edge of the text box and thus are not shown.

I'll see if I can post a screenshot a bit later to better illustrate what I'm trying to say.

It's a bug in the current theme.

add a settings.ini file (or add the line in you current settings.ini) with the following setting:

contact_description_box=83,31,235,101

then it should be better (of course, you have to reload pcm or switch to landscape then portrait).

Technically it works, but it is beta.

The thing is, we need to create a "theme" for the Treos 240x240 screen.

Basically, Tene wants us to use his website/forum for questions or references.

So how to make themes is documented here:
http://pocketcm.com/phorum/read.php?8,174

with General info found here:
http://www.pocketcm.com/beta.php

I suggest we get some people in the Treo forum to adjust this to our screens and then we can post it on his site for others. Volunteers?

Meanwhile, he'll work on the more technical aspects like bug fixing.

hey all, I am using this program and am dually impressed. I don't know the developer in any way or form, but I encourage you all to throw in a couple bux if you like it. It's developers like these who make our already painful ppc's easier to use. Keep in mind, if any developer feels appreciated we can appreciate nicer bells and whistles in the future.

This program is some much better than Contact Manager .11. Im really liking it but I have a question how com at the very top I am getting 3 rows with nothing but # signs and they dont do anything. Is this a bug in the beta version?

Thanks, I changed it to 83,31,234,101 before I saw this post and that worked, but I went ahead and changed it to 83,31,235,101 to add that one extra row of pixels. :D

This really is a great app and it really helps when I'm using my phone one-handed and I need to quickly find a contact.

thanks for that made it alot easier then havening to look through the reg to find it.

Scroll to the bottom of all of your contacts (past z) and you should see the Virtual Contact which allows you to add one. :)
