This actually works quite well. It does seem to be saving my login details.

The only thing I've noticed thus far is the status updates I'm making don't appear on the device (although I can see my most recent update via the profile tab).

The app screwed up my touch. Kept popping up a box and wouldn't let me close the app. Had to scrap it

Ok I'm confused as heck! I installed to "device" and not to storage card, seems to install successfully. I press the icon to start the program, the title bar shows up, then asks about roaming and such, and then the phone goes berserk! Starts beeping like multiple errors want to pop up. Finally after about 30 seconds of that, I get a windows error saying that facebook.exe has a problem.

This is my 4th time installing this and trying it, it has never worked. This is as close as I get, usually it just gives me the window's error and that's it.

I have a stock Alltel ROM on a Touch Pro. Not much on it in terms of other programs, and I don't really understand the WWE work around, I assume I don't have a WWE ROM as it's stock. If anyone could help me out or any advice would be awesome. Thanks ya'll

Here download this great task bar manager it puts all the programs that are running on the taskbar

So you can leave facebook on and if you want it to pop up agian just click the facebook icon works fine with me ... i am able to close and open with no problem but that should prob help you out

i dont see any bugs with the mightyrom 4.12 beside the status update

this app works fine..I can chast with friends, bur it will not allo me to upload pics to my wall etc..gets an error nd the app crashes. Any help will do..

OK... what gives? I "close" this app, but when I try to reopen it, it won't. I checked the task manager, and it's not running.

Anyone have a fix/workaround on this issue?

Program looks good, but if I have to soft reset it everytime I want to open it, it will sadly be deleted.

Hmm I cant get news feeds or status updates to work even though Ive authorized it on facebook. The rest of the app works!

I am having no troubles running this on mightyrom 4.12 as well. Saw that people were having troubles reopening it after closing so I gave this multiple run throughs and havent had a problem so far besides that my inbox is taking forever to load like some people mentioned, its running fine. Also a bit slow but I can handle this. One thing I wish was better is the kinetic scrolling. Does anyone else feel like this could be optimized?

I think I'm going to give up on this until all the bugs are fixed. It STILL won't start up after you shut it down. I literally have to do a soft reset, just to open up this app on my TP.

Also... the status updates does not up update, the last one that shows was 4 hours ago, yet I have a ton that have happened since then. Looks promising, but still has some work to do until it's ready to "work"... at least on the TP.

And yes as i said it works Fine with the mightyrom dont know why people are having that problem

Works fine on my TP with the stock Bell mobility ROM. I have noticed that it doesn't show notifications or give em the opportunity to make comments to status of friends or see comments made to my status, all things I get from the mobile website (but oddly enough NOT from the iphone site). I do like the ability to upload photos and video, was looking for that for my trip to Orlando last month.

The first time I tried running the program yesterday it seemed like it was trying to load. Then it crapped out. I uninstalled it and installed the other version on the first post. I still have the problem with it starting up in the title bar, then exit. I cant seem to get it to work. Is there any files to delete? There is a facebook.vol file that was created. I cant find anything else to clear. Any thoughts?

Nice app and works fairly well on my Omnia.
One thing i would like to see is the option to add comments to status updates (unless i'm blind and it's already there)

I noticed that there is a HUGE amount of lag on the new facebook application. I go on my computer and there tons of stuff not showing up at all. My status also never seems to want to update either, anyone else having trouble?

I found that i have to launch the Facebook app in tandem with internet explorer for it to open AFTER the very first time (installation). Once i do that it is smooth sailing.

Also, it would be nice to see what updates that are done because i see that you did something this morning, but the log didn't show what. I don't know if the facebook cab is new or not......so in the future could you please be more specific as to what is updated?

Check The OP for the update -- the update fixes a few issue and now can be installed in storage

It been tested on the diamond and it works fine

The touch pro i tested it and i dont see any problems at all beside the status and viewing pictures but thatll all be fixed soon i bet

And as i said its prob. the ROM because me and 2 other people confirmed that it works well on the MightyROM

just wait for an update and itll prob work

its a pre-release by microsoft from Windows 6.5

I'm using it on a Sprint Diamond and seem to work just fine.
I'm not able to see the video posted by my friends, Am I doing something wrong or it's supposed to be like that

Yes, I 've notied the same thing. uninstalled it for now until it updates properly and and allows you to commnet on status, etc. Other than uploading pics, I'm sticking with the mobile website for now.

it is sooooo nice to see something official on this but I am going to stop using this application until its bugs are ironed out, the issues I mentioned before, that its not updated stuff that is showing up on my computer, is a deal breaker.

I figured why the app never started up for me and does not work after a while after I did get it to work. I have DiamonTweak installed and set the data disconnect after time for 1 minute. If I launch IE, then exit it, then start the Facebook app, it works. This app has a problem starting up the data session if it is disconnected. I have the same type of problem with the QuickGPS app. So if you cant start it or cant restart the app, maybe this will be of help.

its strange, mine will load the facebook title but quits after a few seconds.. but if i turn on wifi, it works fine.. ???

Has this issue been fixed yet? Seems for me that quick menu quits working but I have it set to long press on window for original menu(that works.) I can reopen the app from the programs tab on my mogul. Annoying that I have to soft reset everytime I use this program. Works great otherwise.
