that is a easy one....3 cubes of ice+favorite bourbon....nothing else is necessary. When the bottle is empty, go buy more.

well for me yeah.. usually whiskey.. but for the girls.. i think it would be quite pimp to be able to hand them the mogul, have them scroll thourgh the list to see if any of that would be satisfactory, or if we have to run to the store.

never heard of such a program, definitely will search though, and post here if you find it, does sound good for the ladies

if i were to make the program it would be a little simpler though; something like this, I'd imagine:

if(jackD.instock() == true)
{
if(ice.instock() == true)
{
output = "Jack Daniels w/ Ice"
}
if(ice.instock() == false)
{
output = "Jack Daniels w/o Ice"
}
}
else if(jackD.instock() == false)
{
output = "buy Jack Daniels"
}

Edit:
after a little bit of searching, i've found 3 programs, 1 with a demo, 2 without a demo, so I havent tested them, but the screens look nice.

Pocket Drink Mixer:
with this one, you can search by ingredient, glass type, or name, or just look through the whole list of stuff. From what I can tell, you cannot enter multiple search terms, so you can't just list everything you have and get a list as you described earlier. this may not be the case though as I've only played around with it for a minute or so. requires some SQL install as well.

Big Cocktail Collection:
no demo for this one, so I dont know exactly how it works, but by looking at the screens, appears you can search by ingredient, mixing ingredient, part of the name, and more... looks nice, but not in my price range (that is, not free)

Bartender Professional:
no demo for this either. from description though:
Define one or multiple search keys:
Ingredient
Name of cocktail (or part of it)
Type of glass
Alcoholic, non-alcoholic or both
actually, found a demo of this one, going to try it now- doesnt include full library of drinks in demo:

Good Idea for programs. I think I am gonna try the third option out for a bit. I'll check back after the trial and a few days. Please update with newer applications!

-Matt

EDIT* I found one, installed the PC version onto my computer. Not very visually enticing but it does get the job done. For PPC:
