Re: Resco Contact Manager - Public Beta Released

Yeah, read through the last three pages or so there were a few ideas for a fix. In short it's just that the shortcut still points to resco and not the built in contacts program.

Yes you can sort by company, it also has a default to open by company setting. Have a look further inside the settings.

You'll find them

Re: Resco Contact Manager - Public Beta Released

Other than the fact that beta cant make phone calls. I think this is the best contact mgr. I've seen yet.

Excellent config settings.
Biggest up on icontact is that finally it will sort by company name.
needs a contact edit interface.
needs direct link to contact website.
i even like the today plugin

Resco my hats off!

I also am very excited about a working demo (That I can actually call). Seems pretty useless now though. Love the looks though

Re: Resco Contact Manager - Public Beta Released

I'd be willing to bet you there fully aware of the phone dialing bug. After all, when the Program releases it does you no good like that. That way there's no need to build any license into the beta.
If the beta was fully functional who would buy it. Not saying I agree or disagree with the logic, its just a thought.

Installing any other contact manager will work. But uninstallation returns to the no RPMContacts issue. Most seem to restore the previous state on uninstallation. The one exception I've found is Sunnysoft Contacts. It seems to be hardcoded to restore to the default WM contact manager, no matter what the previous contact manager in use was.
