Re: SPB Mobile Shell 3.0!!

Just installed the new build.
No problems.
I can live with the screen rotation delay because the functionality is so amazing.

Anyone else notice that if you use a background picture that is larger than your screen resolution, when you switch screens in the lifestyle view (horizontally) it scrolls to reveal the rest of the picture?
=)

Love this thing so much.

M.

Here is a screenshot that allows you to put a widget that allows you to access mailboexes individually.

Isn't that the professional layout? How did you even get the option to add a widget? (I get that only in lifestyle).. and where did you navigate to get that widget?

Here is the reg tweak to add more pages/screens to Lifestyle mode.
Change HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Spb Software House 2\Spb Mobile Shell\Widgets\HomeScreen\PageCount value to number of screens. Currently I'm using 5 screens, and works fine.

Soft reset required.

Also, how can I get to the full weather screen by clicking on the weather icon? Because everytime I click on the weather icon, it goes to the empty SPB weather screen.

The only way I can get to the full weather screen by doing the left softkey 3D cover flow.

I ran it on Silence, KK & MightyROMs and worked great on all those ROMs

Oh great, bug bug. I have PocketLastFM.NET installed, and after running it, it leaves the software keyboard softkey hanging in the bottom center of MS3. The only thing that fixes it is a switch between layouts.

Re: SPB Mobile Shell 3.0!!

Downloaded and tried the official version today. I did like sliding the screen up and down between the two screens and the widgets.
I also like how the contacts are handled - except that I would have liked it better, if I could've done a screen slide to see more info. Address, phone numbers other than the main 2, category, bday, notes etc. To see those, you have to use the native outlook.
There's other things I didn't like:
No integration between other SPB products (like finance balances) etc.
The UI is only skin deep. I would have like it better if for new appointment, contact etc. it would've utilized a finger friendly quick input screen instead of pulling up the WM screens that you can only use with the stylus.

All in all, I went back to TF3D & SecondToday, which serves all my needs.
