ORB 2.0 users - Do you use TCPMP or Windows Media Player?

I have used both TCPMP and Windows Media Player (WMP). WMP doesn't have much for options. The biggest complaint is the zoom, you can't. The problem I have with TCPMP is the buffering. It seams to buffer much more than WMP. If it takes too long in the buffering process it looses connection to the ORB server. I am wondering if maybe caching too much data kills the connection to the server.

I am wondering who uses which player and what are your settings?

I should mention, I am only taking about watching TV. I use it to watch TV and nothing else.

When i had that setup going, I was using TCPMP with no buffering problems. One thing you can check, when you log into the my.orb.com site, look at the bottom and change the bitrate. I had it set to 512kb/s and my connection seemed to be able to handle that fine. If you are still having trouble try dropping it down to 320kb.

I use Kinoma. Built in Orb semi-client. No web browser necessary.

Either. Paid supports more codecs I believe.

Do you have the paid version? Is it worth 30$? Doesn't seem like it.

No. I personally use the free version. It does everything I need it to do. Whether it is worth $30 depends primarily on how much $30 is worth to you.

I have run my bitrate as low as 80 and it still pauses while buffering.

I think you're right, but I'm not sure... I don't watch TV.
