I wish Orb used aac+ encoding. 24k aac+ on Winamp sounds like 128k mp3 with sound enhancements.
I use Kinoma normally. I'm not a big fan of the limited features though. It's great for shoutcast streams! WMP is junk. I never use it. I have CorePlayer, TCPMP and Pocketmusic. Whatever works best at the time for the job. Coreplayer's video looks better than TCPMP but TCPMP plays aac+ in stereo. Kinoma "Trialpay" is nice though. I signed up for a free month of Real.com and got the full version of Kinoma for free. Canceled Real that week. |

I use these settings with TCPMP, and maybe get a rebuffer once an hour, but never loose the stream
Normal buffer size: 800 preload at underrun: 5 Preload for audio: 64 microdrive mode: unchecked
