Sprint Nav has a compass built into it.

Yeah, sprint navegation compass works great, and also tells me how fast iam going while driving...

Yup...
Sprint Nav is actually pretty decent...
But I have a Garmin to do all my traveling. Only issue with Sprint Nav, you can't talk on the phone while trying to go somewhere!

LOL, yeah i've notice that as well, that means you can get lost if you answer the phone...

I havent been using Sprint gps for a while, unless there has been an upgrade, it wont give you compass data unless you are moving....no good man.

You'll have to be moving to get direction using the gps built into your phone, regardless of the app. There's no other way to get the direction with your phone unless you tape a real compass onto it. I guess you can always run 20-30 feet to find out what direction you're going
