Ahh, time to clean house, clear up a few gb of old rom files. If you attempt to install the new version of PPCK, it will tell you that you need to remove the old one.... I did see 23506 in the update list...waiting for 28002 tho...

Neat that they will be in PPK in uploads, I do hope it's as quick as when you posted them. Just would hate to see a new release and not be able to play with it for a week or so...

Thanks again for all your help here, you've been awsome !

Edit: the new version installs correctly but, as soon as I use updater, it gets files missing errors and keeps backing out of installing anything...ugh

Damn ppckitchen i cant update a thing nothing is working what did i do wrong

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

I downloaded the new PPCK and installed it over the old version and it did not work. I then uninstall the old version and installed the new version but now the updater fails with the following error:

"File 21054 QVGA group Kitchen files not found"

When I click OK the updater finishes.

The only option I selected when the updater runs is for VOGUE. All other selections are the defaults. I also cleaned up the files after I did the uninstall so there would not be any left over items.

I am running this on Windows 7 - 64 bit.

Any input would be appreciated.

The Updater is now working. Thanks for the fix.

I did a DVD backup of the ppk folder. Then uninstalled, ran the updater, reebooted system.Checked the file structure in both folders and rebuilt the Kichen folder from the manual kitchen files. Rebuilt the Projects folder, butI forgot to route the XIPs. Everything was good untill injection time. That's what's good about a virtual pantry. You allways have backup files.

Upgrade went fine for me. Backed up the entire kitchen. Downloaded new kitchen updates, and then relaid all my edits and what not back across the new files, and things are good. Now I just need some new SYS builds, lol.

Are you using PPCK Version 1.0?
If so the LZX should be straight forward, no addition steps needed.
The LZX compresses the ROM better!! Saves me about 15MB's.
