PPCKitchen 23081 Dev files
 

PPCKitchen files for 23081 for the PPCK devs out there. These common files should work for ALL devices, including Apache :wink:, let me know if it doesn't work. One other note here. The 192DPI now contains the WVGA files as well. The option.xml will filter those out based of of the device resolution set in the devicebase txt file. All other usual notes apply.

The XIP rar contains XIPs for the Apache, Herman, Kaiser, Titan, Victor and Vogue, all are spinlock patched except for the Apache. The Apache XIP is now LZX enabled (thx to Drellisdee) as well.

Warning! If these files are used in any other kitchen other than PPCKitchen, please be sure that you fix the file attributes BEFORE or DURING cooking, otherwise problems will ensue (see FIX here). I have attached the removed packages as well if you do use these in another kitchen.

To manually fix the common rar you currently have without redownloading, extract the mshtml.dll file from browsingie\mshtml.dllold in the common.rar to your desktop (or wherever), then add it back int to the browsingie package and save the new rar.

No, these DPI are only 192. VGA and WVGA both are 192. You could make your own 128DPI from Da_G's files though.

How can I get Internet Sharing to "auto-dial" when I start it? I looked at the following MS site, http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa922638.aspx and added the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\Audodial entries but no luck. It says to name your phone book entry but I can't figure out what it should be. I am on Alltel. Also, I don't fully understand how to setup the RAS stuff listed in the MS site.

Does anyone know what else I need to do to get this to work?

question:
the magnifier is disable ...i have to adjust registry after cooking to enable then it works OK
but i looked at .rgu file in OS folder and it says "enabled=1" ...why it starts disabled then? how can i cook and make it enabled after cooking without need to edit registry?

The rom I cooked for my vogue the magnifer works fine without modifing anything.

Question. I haven't noticed this on a build before. But when I cooked and flashed the new 23081, It says Beta in the bottom right hand corner expires 12/01/2009.
